History

First written information about our town comes from year 1282. From this we know that Leba was not located where it is now and people lived on top of the dunes, almost on the beach.

Leba is situated at the end of Leba River, between Lebsko Lake and Slovinski National Park - which is listed as National UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Infrastructure

Nowadays, Leba has over 2000 inhabitants, and the number doubles up during the Summer season.
People who live here are mostly fishermen or owners of the hotels, guest houses or restaurants. You can find almost anything you need in this town. There is a cinema, pharmacy, few drs’ surgeries and an emergency room (nearest hospital is in Lebork).

How to get here?

First, you need to get to Poland. The easiest way is to do it by air. There are number of airlines, flying to Gdansk. You can go for a cheaper option and go with Ryanair or Wizzair.
